I applied it rigidly and was so scared to make a mistake, over analysing my pacing plan all the time. When this felt wrong and unproductive, I then went to the other extreme, thinking that in order to champion a more positive mindset, I had to almost convince myself I was ok, ignoring my symptoms and often not pacing at all. I felt lost, confused and stuck.
The most value came in the program from the fact that although Jo followed a set structure, the content and conversation during sessions was incredibly tailored to what I needed most help with each week.
